Lithuania
Curonian Spit National Park, is the highlight of Lithuanian’s Baltic Coast. It is backed by fragrant pine-studded dunes and soft sand beaches, huge Sahara-like dunes and pretty villages. A paved cycle/walking path with guidebook, route signage, information boards and bike rental called the Lithuanian Seaside Cycle Route makes it a popular country with international cyclists. In Aukstaitija National Park tiny villages nestled along quiet lakes have carefully tended wood houses and immaculate gardens. Nature is revered and loved in Lithuania and the modern, scenic campgrounds reflect this. Well-paved and signposted roads net the entire country. Divided highways are being built.
