Steeped in compelling Bronze Age mysteries and geographically and culturally lying on a fault line between Eastern and Western Europe makes visiting Greece a fascinating and enlightening experience. Its idyllic warm beaches are warm enough for swimming in May and September. Greece is one of Europe’s most popular vacation destinations. Campgrounds will usually have a simple café/bar and a common area for cooking and washing dishes. Some have swimming pools. Shower water is often solar heated. Driving in Greece isn’t overly difficult but you need to be alert for aggressive drivers.
