guide to driving and camping in Sweden

Campground cabin

Sweden

Sweden’s breathtakingly beautiful countryside is laced with enticing waterways edged perfectly with leafy forests and sun-warmed boulders. Rivers are often calm and slow-flowing. Boating is popular and rentals are available. Campgrounds provide well for children and family life, so well-equipped playground equipment, diving platforms, mini-golf, and bike rentals are standard fare. Fragrant fresh bread is often delivered each morning to the campground store. Very nice enclosed common cooking areas with stovetops and pleasant eating areas make it easy to relax and get to know fellow campers. The country is methodical and well organized. Rules and road conditions are similar to what you are used to at home.
